I had the pleasure of meeting up with Jonathan Thorpe and his wife Meredith on the farm in mid-2021. A special time as the Thorpes gathered eggs and avocados along with feeding out to the cattle in the upper reaches of the farm.
Later we accompanied Jonathan as he delivered fresh cuts of their high-quality meat to one of their customers, at Roots Bar in Takaka township. When we place an order on the weekend, Jonathan delivers direct to our home in Nelson, the following Tuesday. I like that direct link with our amazing producers!
