For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made. [PSALM 139:13]
Psalm 139 is one of the great psalms of scripture, written by King David yet as is the whole of the Bible, divinely inspired by God.

We discover that Our God is acquainted with all of our ways, even from the time we are in our mother’s womb. For God formed our inward parts. My frame (or body) was not hidden from Him when I was made in that secret place.
God is spirit and is omni-present. Therefore even if I can take the wings of the morning and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, there God’s hand will lead me.
Now that I believe I often think of myself as a pilgrim, passing through this world, destined for an amazing new heaven and earth. The apostle Paul touches on this truth in his first letter to the growing church in Corinth.

This was a psalm special to my younger brother Dave, who is now with Yeshua in paradise. At Dave’s funeral I shared from this writing and also played a rendition of this psalm by the Sons’ of Korah.
Be encouraged in knowing that if you place your faith in Yeshua, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, you will always be safe in His care!
