WESTERN WALL OF THE OLD CITY

How can it be that Israel, a tiny nation of around 10 million people located in the Middle East, can command global attention day in and day out.
A nation vilified by so many. This hatred is palpable and for me can only be explained through spiritual eyes with biblical understanding.
As mentioned in other website articles it all goes back to the Garden and the enmity between the serpent and the seed of the women.
This enmity has outworked itself throughout Man’s history. Satan’s (the serpent) ultimate goal is to dethrone the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and rule eternally. To counter God’s restorative plan Satan is working to destroy the Jews (Israel) and Christians (the Church).
With this reality in mind, we read this passage from the prophet Zechariah:
And it shall happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples; all who would heave it away will surely be cut in pieces, though all nations of the earth are gathered against it. [ZECHARIAH 12:3]
Because God knows the end from the beginning, He can and does speak into the future through His chosen prophets, Zechariah being one. Jerusalem is where the history of Man will culminate and a brief overview of this city’s biblical significance is highlighted in this Got Questions article, here.
Here we read that in a coming day, all the nations of the World will come against Jerusalem, the capital city of Israel. Even in recent days, yet another peace accord has been brokered at the United Nations Security Council (UNSC), to back Israel into a corner.
The nations think that they have the upper hand, not realizing that the God of the Bible, in this final great battle, will come to Israel’s rescue! Messiah Yeshua – The Son of God – who Israel rejected as a nation at His first coming, will this time accept Him and be delivered from annihilation. Indeed, all who work to heave this heavy stone of Jerusalem away, will be cut to pieces.
Now is the hour to believe in Messiah Yeshua before we enter into what the Jewish people refer to as The Day of Jacob’s Trouble.

Enmity Between the Seeds
The Lord God said to the serpent, “I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed; He shall bruise you on the head, and you shall bruise Him on the heel” (GENESIS 3:15). Here we witness the greatest calamity of Mankind. Adam and Eve chose to disobey an…
